Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Voice Engineer intern to join our team. The intern will work closely with our Voice Engineering team to gain hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining voice communication systems. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn about voice technologies and contribute to projects that impact our organizations communication infrastructure.

• Assist in the design and implementation of voice communication systems, including VoIP

and traditional telephony solutions.

• Support the configuration and maintenance of PBX systems, SIP trunks, and voice

gateways.

• Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice services and infrastructure.
• Participate in testing and validation of voice systems to ensure reliability and

performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate voice solutions and applications.

Job Requirement

You’re a great fit if you already meet the following prerequisites.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical

Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of high-performance, multi-threaded applications in modern nodejs, C++ and C/Golang.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications principles and protocols.
• Familiarity with voice technologies such as VoIP, SIP, and RTP.
• Proficiency in network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to have

• Hands-on experience with voice communication systems or internships in a related field.
• Knowledge of VoIP platforms and software, such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or Cisco

Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).

• Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and task

scripting.

• Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in learning new technologies.
