About the role:

This role is a part of Global Sales Strategy and Operations (GSSO) group in Gartner. The GSSO includes various teams focused on increasing sales and services productivity through multiple business critical initiatives such as Prospecting, Technology, Analytics, Growth Planning, Enablement, etc.

Within GSSO, the Territory Planning & Analytics for Services (TP&A for Services) team is responsible for supporting Services and is the centre of Gartner’s Service Alignment Strategy. TP&A for Services is an internal consulting and operational team that partners with Services leaders to determine how the company should direct its substantial investment in incremental service professionals. This role will collaborate with Services leaders to guide strategic alignment, process efficiency and improvement and go-to-market decisions at regional and global levels.

What you will do:

  • Take ownership end to end focusing on requirement gathering, stakeholder management, data extraction and analysis, change management, execution, and detailed testing
  • Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on desired end state to ensure all aspects of requirements are fulfilled
  • Conceive, build, and continuously enhance systems and tools in the territory management team to enable service associates to engage the clients in an operationally effective way
  • Interact with senior stakeholders for end-to-end execution of multiple initiatives. Streamline processes with stakeholders across initiatives to achieve productivity gains.
  • Create innovative solutions to complex data-driven problems. Enable automation opportunities as required. Own process and systems improvement in different stages of process and data pipeline
  • Analyse territory performance to identify areas of focus. Identify trends and insights from data while leveraging the right analytical tools and techniques to improve current process.
  • Resolve data quality issues by proactively collaborating with stakeholders and partners which includes fixing data issues and/or integrating data into analytical systems
  • Create detailed documentation of all work and transfer knowledge to relevant stakeholders

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with experience building complex SQL to extract data and conduct data testing.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to synthesize requirements into design and deliver meaningful solutions.
  • Excellent Project Management and Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Knowledge of Python and Power BI is a plus.
