Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. Your typical day will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, performing backup/recovery, and configuration management. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain new databases, ensuring data integrity and security. - Perform backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability and minimize downtime. - Install and configure database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and methodologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. - Solid understanding of backup and recovery procedures, configuration management, and database security. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques to ensure optimal database performance. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL. - Experience with database monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio, and MySQL Workbench. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
