How will you make an impact in this role?

The Digital Documents Servicing (DDS) Team is a key function within Colleague Services that is responsible for the delivery and management of American Express’ digital document solutions within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG). This position will report to the Manager, Digital Documents Servicing and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing various aspects of the electronic file program including personnel, tuition assistance, mass change and employment verification programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of American Express’ HR systems and data integrations.

Key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Query management of personnel files including manual uploads when automation is not available and for Verification of employment.
  • Provide digital document solutions guidance and support to Colleague Experience Group teams across the different business units.
  • Ensure compliance with global retention policies and regulations.
  • Review and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the delivery of compliant and cost-effective solutions.
  • Work with the CEG partners to provide for Verification of employment details for colleagues outside of the standard request.
  • Work with CEG to close the audit requirements.
  • Ability to look for opportunities to automate the verification of employment process and work with the technology team to implement the process.
  • Work internally with the team and the CEG partners to automate the process for Employee Personnel file.
  • Close all the queries on Employee Personnel file and Verification of Employment within the SLA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR solutions, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using HR systems (DocuSign, Oracle, People Soft, or similar).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, strategy partners, and vendors.
  • Ability to pivot and prioritize deliverables based on urgency and requirements.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as both an individual contributor and as a valued team member.
