The Role As a System Administrator - AIX at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator-AIX at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8+ Years of Experience in AIX Administration with Power HA.

• 
  AIX & Power HA Engineer: Responsible for managing and administering AIX (Advanced Interactive eXecutive) operating systems and implementing Power HA (formerly HACMP) for high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

• 
  Work closely with the infrastructure team to design, deploy, and maintain AIX and Power HA environments, ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of critical systems.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• 
  Administer AIX operating systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

• 
  Design, implement, and manage Power HA clusters for high availability and disaster recovery.

• 
  Monitor and troubleshoot AlX and Power HA environments to identify and resolve performance issues, system crashes, and other technical problems.

• Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX or IBM Certified Specialist - PowerHA System Mirror, are a plus.
